Fayette County

Outside of Fayette County’s five municipalities, you will find a pastoral setting for folks that prefer a little more elbow room.  North Fayette County offers the closest access to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and downtown Atlanta but feels a world away with beautiful homes on large, wooded lots and close-knit neighborhoods nestled among the trees. Central and South Fayette County feature lovely homes on five- and ten-acre lots dotting the countryside.  Often the neighbors are horses, cows, goats and sheep grazing nearby in a split-rail framed pasture. You can also see cyclists and runners on the less-traveled roads throughout the County, especially near Kenwood Park and Lake Horton.
