“Linda has shown resilience throughout the course of this entire pandemic. As a small business owner whose focus is event planning, Covid-19 had a big impact on her entire industry. Despite many restrictions, Sweet Magnolia has found ways to celebrate the meaning behind these special occasions while also protecting the health of attendees and the greater community. Through increased distancing, limiting contact, staggering schedules, even sharing “health plans” with wedding guests, Linda continues to take steps to plan and protect the health of her clients and their loved ones.

Linda has shown a commitment to Fayette County not only by serving clients here throughout the pandemic, but by keeping talent local whenever possible. While some clients may have particular vendors previously selected, Linda has continued to suggest local talent for catering, photography, floral design, and event spaces. She appreciates working closely with the local businesses who are just as loyal to Fayette County, offer superior service, and are committed to all CDC guidelines.

She has exemplified hope and compassion in the way in which she has served her clients throughout Fayette County. These local couples/families/ come to Linda not only because she can execute a spectacular event, but because these uncertain times have added so much additional stress to what should be some of the best days of their lives. Linda stays current on all the guidelines and protocols related to the pandemic and has adopted creative strategies of her own to ensure these celebrations are still made possible. Brides call crying because a member of their wedding party has Covid-19, or a venue has cancelled, or their photographer is no longer available for their rescheduled date, and Linda finds a way to put their minds at ease while keeping everyone safe and ensuring a flawless event. We need people like Linda who are committed to serving Fayette County residents in all seasons of life. Unpredictable things can happen, but that’s where Sweet Magnolia Wedding & Event Management steps in.”
